This square nierika is a work of Huichol art that encompasses a wide range of shapes and symbols. At its center is the shape of the Huichol, surrounded by a variety of elements that represent nature and Wixárika spirituality. Symbols include deer, birds in flight, wolves, figures of women in reverence, candles, bonfires, the rising sun and corn. Peyote, a sacred substance for the Wixárika culture, is also present.

At the top of the painting, a symbol stands out that represents the contrast between the moon and the sun, reflecting the harmony and balance sought in Wixárika spirituality. The arrangement of symbols and shapes within the nierika creates a rich and evocative composition, inviting the viewer to explore its symbolic meanings and connection with nature.
