  • "Chrysanthemum Flower" is a sculpture that combines materials and vibrant colors to explore concepts of transformation and materiality. Created by Japanese artist Taro Tokuyama, this piece reflects his ability to fuse organic and artificial elements into a visually striking dialogue.

The work, which features a symmetrically divided form like a cross section, stands out for its layers of intense colors that evoke natural patterns such as the veins of a mineral or the dense petals of a chrysanthemum. At the same time, the use of bright textures and abstract details adds a contrast between the organic and the synthetic, inviting the viewer to reflect on the relationship between nature and human intervention.

This piece encapsulates the essence of Tokuyama: his ability to transform objects and materials into works that combine technical precision, contemporary aesthetics and conceptual depth.
