  • In this work, Taro Tokuyama plays with transparency and the superposition of layers to explore identity and memory. Three silhouettes intertwine in a single body, representing different dimensions of the same person or the echo of their presence in time. The central figure, full of colors and organic textures, contrasts with the shadows that surround it, generating an effect of depth and movement.

The use of paper as a support and the delicacy of the details provide a sense of fragility, while the mixed technique allows for a visual richness that reinforces the introspective narrative of the piece. This work invites the viewer to reflect on the changing nature of being and the way we perceive ourselves at different stages of life.
