  • En Disc of Times IITaro Tokuyama captures the essence of time through a minimalist mixed media piece. A chromatic disk suspended on a clean background becomes a visual metaphor for the accumulation of moments. The layers of color, with a predominance of warm tones such as red, orange and yellow, evoke the transformation and constant flow of existence.

The contrast between the white background and the vibrant core of the disc creates a sense of contemplation and permanence. The framed arrangement suggests an encapsulated relic, a fragment of time stopped in its purest form. This work invites the viewer to reflect on the fleeting nature of experience and the way memories overlap, creating a unique and unrepeatable visual narrative.

  • Taro Tokuyama, born in Nagasaki in 1982, is a Japanese artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid.
