This nierika woven with worsted yarn is a symbolic portal that recounts a vision received during a ceremony with hikuri (peyote). Through its vivid colors and sacred symbols, it narrates the spiritual journey of the mara'akame, the Huichol shaman, to the heart of the sacred world.

At the center is the sun, the source of life and consciousness. Surrounding it are scenes of blue deer, eagles, ceremonial gourds, candles, and ritual staffs, all essential elements in pilgrimages and offerings to the gods. The figure of the deer, a spiritual guide and brother of peyote, appears several times leading the way.

The lower edge shows the Haramara Sea, the place of origin of life and sacred destiny, while the flowers, snakes, fire and animals that inhabit the rest of the circle allude to the powers of the earth and natural balance.

Each line of yarn, placed by hand with patience and devotion, transforms this circle into a living prayer, a visual offering to maintain harmony between the human and divine worlds.
