The encounter of two cultures merge in with these pieces that combine the creativity from the hands of artists that come from different states of Mexico: Oaxaca and Jalisco.

Marakame innovates and integrates the skills of the Zapotec artists, merging the pieces achieved by them with the visual and manual dexterity of the Wixárika by gluing tiny beads one by one, from 20 thousand to more than 500 thousand (more than 50 thousand in this piece), for periods ranging from 15 to 300 days.

The figure has long ears and an animal tail, making it look like a magical and supernatural creature. The sculpture is adorned with animal and floral figures, reflecting the connection with nature and the universe. The balance of colours between cool and warm tones is what gives this sculpture its unique expressiveness. The green and blue tones of the background blend perfectly with the yellow and orange tones of the floral figures, creating a stunning visual effect.

This sculpture is a true example of the cultural and artistic richness of the indigenous peoples of Mexico. It is a piece that can be enjoyed for generations and is a reminder of the power and beauty of indigenous culture.
